For several years, the Cégep de Sherbrooke has been welcoming groups of newcomers in the francization courses of the Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration (MIFI) in order to help them master the French language and to integrate into the local culture. To this end, many bridges have been created between these immigrants and students in regular courses at the Cégep and the Université de Sherbrooke. These francization courses draw on a variety of activities to create a rich and rewarding experience with the support of an experienced team of teachers and integration officers.
